Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble, install, and maintain solar panels and related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for solar panel installation
- Perform electrical wiring work to connect solar panels to electrical systems
- Assist in construction site preparation for solar panel installation
- Operate a forklift for transportation of materials on-site
- Conduct low voltage testing on electrical systems
- Install fixtures necessary for solar panel mounting
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to build structures according to specifications
- Competency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical diagrams
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety procedures
- Experience operating a forklift is advantageous
- Understanding of low voltage systems
- Previous experience in fixture installation is a plus.
