About the Role :
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor to join their Residential Lending Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing, analyzing, and compiling all data associated with residential mortgage and home equity loan applications, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze residential loan applications from inception to closing.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all residential lending disclosures.
- Analyze income documentation, credit reports, and tax return transcripts.
- Request and review appraisals, condo questionnaires, and other necessary documents.
- Run Desktop Underwriter or Loan Prospector for secondary market applications.
- Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and compliance officers to ensure file completeness.
- Prepare and submit complete credit files to senior underwriters for review.
- Manage closing documents, including property and flood insurance, title documents, and closing instructions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state loan regulations and secondary market guidelines.
