Part Time Graphic Designer - DC Metro (Tysons Corner/hybrid)

On behalf of our client, a global consulting firm we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Graphic Designer

to join a dynamic team on a flexible, part-time basis (c.25 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and a strong background in creating visually compelling newsletters and slide decks using Adobe Creative Suite. This role will involve elevating graphics and documents, relaying content into PowerPoint or Word, and ensuring high-quality output on Microsoft platforms.

This position requires an Active Secret Clearance (must be eligible for clearance if not in current possession) and will be subject to a background check and drug screening upon offer.

Responsibilities :

Design and produce high-quality newsletters and slide decks that align with our brand guidelines.Collaborate with various departments to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.Elevate graphics and word documents to a professional level of finesse.Relay content into PowerPoint or Word to enhance visual appeal and effectiveness.Ensure all designs are visually appealing and effectively communicate the intended message.Stay updated with the latest design trends and software updates.Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in graphic design.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating newsletters and slide decks.Experience with Microsoft platforms (PowerPoint, Word etc.).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Flexibility to work c.25 hours per week as needed.Active Secret Clearance.Previous government experience is desirable.

Hourly rate is $50.00 - $60.00 depending on experience.1099.
