Senior Scientist / Scientist, Gene Therapy Delivery Technologies

Our client is at the forefront of developing a non-viral gene therapy platform capable of precisely targeting various organs in the body, delivering large payloads in multiple formats without the need for invasive procedures.
HireMinds is seeking your expertise as a Scientist or Senior Scientist who will play a pivotal part in gene therapy vector development and innovation. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience and a proven record of innovation in the field of gene therapy non-viral vector development and manufacturing. You will also be able to mentor and manage direct reports in conducting novel delivery technology lab duties in concert with the company's pipeline strategy and timelines in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities :
- Support the innovative efforts in developing gene therapy non-viral vectors.
- Scope open-source resources to identify technologies that address major limitations in the delivery of non-viral gene therapy vectors.
- Experience in design of non-viral delivery including LNPs, nanoparticles, polymers, protein / antibody cargo carriers, and nanobubble technologies.
- Establish novel development and manufacturing procedures for scalable production of next-generation DNA and RNA payloads.
- Conduct high-throughput screening testing of studies in collaboration with biology teams.
