What You’ll Do
- Support multiple projects simultaneously with guidance from senior scientists.
- Partner with engineering teams to assist in solution development and project execution.
- Respond to technical inquiries and contribute input for requirements in new proposals and projects.
- Analyze existing and new analysis methods to evaluate performance and applications.
- Write test procedures and prepare supporting documentation.
- Present scientific findings to diverse audiences.
- Continuously grow your application knowledge through hands-on work and training.
- Develop expertise in at least one application area within three years.
- You’re naturally curious and eager to understand the technologies behind the products.
- You balance exploration with the ability to meet deadlines and stay on budget.
- You thrive in a learning environment and actively seek out mentorship and self-study.
- You’re a strong communicator and collaborator who takes ownership of your work.

Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of radiation detection and measurement technologies.
- Solid foundation in math and statistical concepts.
- Programming experience (Python or C preferred) or willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Science or Engineering required.
- A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an application-based environment.
