Regional Vice President of Southeast Operations
Reporting to: Chief Operations Officer
Summary
This position is with a PE backed, site based, healthcare adjacent organization. The Regional Vice President of Southeast Operations will lead a team of Regional Operations Managers overseeing nearly 60 locations. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role is crucial in driving operational excellence, fostering an outstanding customer and employee experience, and ensuring financial growth across the Southeast region.
Essential Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
- Lead and develop Regional Operations Managers, each overseeing 8-12 locations, with a focus on operational efficiency, customer experience, revenue growth, and cost management.
- Foster a high-performance culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Champion employee engagement and retention initiatives to strengthen leadership alignment and maintain a positive workplace culture.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor and analyze key business metrics, coaching managers to optimize performance and align with hospital missions.
- Drive technology adoption and process improvements to enhance safety, workflow efficiency, and customer experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, HR, Marketing, and IT to implement hospital performance improvements.
- Partner with medical directors and clinic leaders for regular business reviews, ensuring clinical excellence aligns with financial goals.
Strategic Growth & Integration
- Oversee the smooth integration of newly acquired hospitals, ensuring alignment with company values and operational standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment, promoting knowledge-sharing and teamwork to drive key initiatives.
Regional Oversight
- Lead operations across the Southeast region, with flexibility for remote work on the East Coast or hybrid work from the Boston office.
- Travel up to 75% within the region, visiting key locations, meeting with clients, and overseeing project implementations.
- Attend corporate meetings, conferences, and leadership events as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a multi-site managerial role, preferably in healthcare or healthcare-adjacent settings.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams to success.
- Experience working with clinicians and medical professionals preferred.
- Proficiency in office software and practice management systems.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client and staff relations.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and make sound decisions.
