Sales & Marketing Director

The human resources department of a dynamic contract manufacturing company asked HireneXus for help marketing a position leading their sales team. They need a high energy Sales leader. The position will be focused on setting clear sales/marketing strategies, and developing the core processes needed to reach short and long-term sales growth objectives, while coaching and managing all aspects of the sales cycle, and owning key relationships and the customer experience.

This position will take lead on growing Company top line by 15% , and in collaboration with the President, CEO, COO, will create a vision for the sales, and target market strategies necessary to drive growth, profit optimization, customer satisfaction, and build cohesive, high impact sales team.

Ideal candidates will have experience within the contract manufacturing marketspace, bring experience leading sales teams by in a climate of accountability, development, personal growth and reward, and operate comfortably in a sales leadership role requiring both strategic and tactical sales responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy

  • Lead front-line sales efforts, including customer qualification, forecasting, and sales budgeting.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies across multiple channels, including direct selling and digital outreach.
  • Drive prospecting and qualification processes for all sales activities.
  • Leverage CRM and sales technologies to enhance efficiency and opportunity evaluation.

Customer Relationships & Market Adaptability

  • Implement a customer-first, relationship-driven sales approach to maximize engagement and retention.
  • Utilize industry connections to adapt sales strategies in response to market and economic conditions.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Develop and execute content, digital, and SEO marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Establish branding mechanisms and philosophies to strengthen market recognition.

Estimating & Quoting

  • Align quotation processes with divisional and company sales strategies.
  • Develop estimating strategies and implement technologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of quoting.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Align hiring, training, and professional development strategies with sales team objectives.
  • Motivate, coach, and actively manage team performance expectations.
  • Foster collaboration between sales and operations to drive overall business success.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.).
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in contract manufacturing.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Preferred

  • 3 years in a senior sales management role.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tool & die, stamping, and metal fabrication.
  • Leadership experience with a commitment to partnerships, integrity, and customer-centric values.
  • Sandler Sales Training certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to actively engage in sales, marketing, and quoting to support customers, the team, and operations.
