Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management
This position sits with a PE backed multi-site healthcare organization.
The Vice President (VP) of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the revenue cycle processes within the organization. This role ensures effective management of key functions including payor relations, credentialing, insurance verification, financial clearance, charge entry, payment posting, accounts receivable, and patient balance resolution. The VP works to improve revenue and cash flow while ensuring compliance with regulations. This role also fosters strong collaboration with Operations to streamline processes related to scheduling, pre-service financial clearance, treatment planning / charging, and insurance billing. The VP will develop and execute department goals aligned with the organization’s strategic vision and lead a team of direct and indirect reports to achieve operational excellence.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work remote, but would prefer candidates who are west coast based.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Cycle Oversight
Lead and manage all aspects of revenue cycle operations, including payor contracting, credentialing, coding, charge entry, payment posting, insurance verification, patient balance resolution, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare billing regulations, maintaining adherence to industry standards.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance revenue cycle processes to optimize cash flow and financial performance.
Leadership & Team Management
Direct and mentor the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Systems & Technology
Optimize and manage EMR and other supporting financial systems.
Analytics & Reporting
Develop and track key financial and operational metrics, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison with third-party payers to ensure timely reimbursements.
