Vice President of Strategic Growth Initiatives
A private equity-backed, rapidly growing residential and commercial field services business based in Long Island is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Growth Initiatives. This role will work closely with the CEO and C-Suite on high-impact growth initiatives, including core organic growth projects and M&A opportunities. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will work cross-functionally to drive strategic projects that align with the company’s long-term vision, enhance operational efficiencies, and position the business for sustained success. Projects will range from short-term strategic engagements to large-scale transformational programs.
Geography
This role requires time in the Long Island office but someone in a hybrid situation and more generally in the northeast is ok.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring fast-paced execution to meet business objectives.
- Provide steady leadership in a high-growth environment, managing uncertainty, change, and tight deadlines associated with the company’s expansion through acquisitions.
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of acquisitions, defining key elements such as timelines, milestones, budgets, resource allocation, and success metrics.
- Facilitate project coordination, steering committee meetings, and clear communication of roles and responsibilities to key functional leaders.
- Monitor project progress using dashboards to track health, risks, and performance.
- Drive escalation and resolution of critical issues that could impact project timelines, including go-live dates.
- Support the acquisition strategy by managing due diligence workstreams and ensuring proper execution.
