The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic medical care, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide mobility assistance , including transferring patients between beds, wheelchairs, and other areas.
- Take and record vital signs , such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health and behavior to nurses and medical staff.
- Assist with feeding and hydration , ensuring patients receive proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including changing bed linens and sanitizing equipment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures as required by facility regulations.
