Location : Sanford, NC

Salary Range : $110,000.00 - $125,000.00

Signing Bonus : $10,000 Commitment Incentive, paid quarterly during the first year of employment

Relocation Package : Full

Position Overview

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a visionary and dynamic Director of Emergency Services to lead the operations of a growing Emergency Department (ED) at a leading healthcare facility in Sanford, NC. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to oversee a pivotal department expansion while driving clinical excellence and making a meaningful impact on the community's healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and supervise the clinical and procedural operations of the Emergency Department.
• Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safe staffing levels, and ensure supplies and equipment are adequately stocked.
• Develop, implement, and manage the department's budget effectively.
• Engage in continuous quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
• Oversee patient throughput processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster staff professional development and ensure the completion of required annual competencies.
• Communicate critical updates to the CNO and other administrative leaders as needed.
• Manage resources for optimal productivity while ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Support evidence-based clinical practices and staff education initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

The Emergency Department currently includes 14 rooms and is undergoing renovations to expand to 20 rooms, with project completion anticipated by December 2025.
