Job Description
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for modern site design and functionality, ensuring the solutions meet specific needs.
- Design and implement tailored modern site solutions for various site collections.
- Develop comprehensive migration plans and strategies to transition content from Classic Sites to Modern sites, ensuring data integrity and minimal user disruption.
- Execute the migration process, including configuring site settings, migrating content, and verifying post-migration functionality.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with stakeholders to ensure migrated sites meet expectations and requirements.
- Provide training and support to users to help them effectively utilize the new Modern sites.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance and usability of Modern sites following the migration.
- Document migration processes, best practices, and lessons learned for future reference.
Job Skills Required
- Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, features, and functionalities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps for workflow automation and custom application development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Online or Power Platform Fundamentals are a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint development, with a focus on migrating from Classic Sites to Modern sites.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
