We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including industrial cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct industrial cleaning activities to maintain high standards of cleanliness in designated areas.
- Buff and polish floors to enhance appearance and longevity.
- Carry out custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and restocking supplies.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the functionality of the environment.
- Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care practices, including buffing and polishing methods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions involving travel between sites.

Pay: From $10.20 per hour
