What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Event Staff @ Ross-Ade Stadium at Purdue position at HireQuest Direct?
We are seeking reliable Unarmed Security Guards to join us in working on April 12th at the Ross-Ade Stadium at Purdue! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and clients during the celebration and fireworks!
Note: This is a standing position located in West Lafayette and must apply with our HireQuest Direct Indianapolis North Location.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine gates, barricades, and entrances/exits to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports on incidents that occur during their shift- Provide excellent customer service to all employees, visitors, and clients
Requirements:
- - High school diploma or equivalent
- - Must be at least 18 years of age
- - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- - Strong communication skills
- - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- - Prior experience in security or loss prevention is preferred
