We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain a clean and shiny appearance.
- Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Execute industrial cleaning procedures in designated areas to meet safety and health standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Provide porter services as required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment within the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with residential painting or light maintenance tasks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
