The Company:
HireQuip is a fast growing company specializing in the wholesale rental (re-rental) of construction equipment - specifically large boom lifts (ultra booms) and telehandlers - with a commitment to customer service and safety. We are expanding throughout Texas and looking to add to our team with a Rental & Service Coordinator position in Converse, TX. HireQuip offers competitive pay and benefits including health insurance.
Rental and Service Coordinator job responsibilities include:
- Customer Engagement: Engage extensively with customers over the phone to generate rental leads and assist with their business needs.
- Customer Service Excellence: Serve as the first line of support, providing outstanding customer service to address inquiries, resolve issues, and build lasting relationships.
- Rental Coordination: Assist sales representatives in coordinating rental agreements and supporting rental transactions.
- Contract Management: Open and close rental contracts in adherence to company policies and customer requirements.
- Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate and dispatch drivers for equipment deliveries and pick-ups to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Service Calls: Handle incoming service phone calls, dispatch field technicians as required to repair down equipment, type work orders and other clerical service duties.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory control of parts and equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing issues related to sales and service in a timely manner.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum 2 years of experience within a fast paced environment focused on customer service. Equipment rental experience preferred.
- Possession of extraordinary customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset with a people-oriented approach and strong administrative skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, lift up to 40 lbs. and operate a forklift
- Knowledgeable with aerial and material moving equipment
- Basic working knowledge of computer processes is necessary for day to day operations
- A high school diploma or equivalent
