Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic thinker who can effectively coordinate transportation planning, materials handling, and category management to meet business objectives. As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our logistics operations forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage logistics processes to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Compare transportation and logistics pricing and timelines to optimize costs.
- Verify product inventory at all primary and secondary warehouses to ensure accuracy.
- Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Pallet Sheets to facilitate production and shipment.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures established by the Director of Logistics.
- Support audits by ensuring documentation and records are accurate and accessible.
- Assist with scheduling delivery and pickup of orders to meet customer needs.
- Process invoices for payment, work with vendors to answer billing questions, and assist with timekeeping and payroll.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in logistics and shipping, inventory control, warehouse environment, and accounting experience.
- Ability to learn new software skills as needed to complete job responsibilities.
- Successful background check.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in the Google suite of products and navigating web platforms.
