Qualifications
Candidate will have BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer is preferred, but not required; plus, a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in land development and / or public works; or the equivalent work experience of eight (8) years in the industry.
Qualified candidates will also have a minimum of two (2) years of supervising the work of engineers, designers, and other project support staff.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate :
- Ability to prepare grading and public improvement plans from conceptual design to final documents to support residential, multi-family and corporate campus development
- As well as preparation and processing of technical studies and site plans to obtain entitlements for land development projects
- Ability to prepare Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for public infrastructure improvement plans, such as street, sewer, and storm drains
- Site assessment, the ability to perform engineering design studies (incorporating infrastructure requirements and potential regulatory issues)
- Preparation and processing of regulatory plans
- Ability to prepare / process plans through Los Angeles and Ventura Country Public Works
- Ability to perform constructability reviews
- Experience with a range of construction support services
