Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Writer (B2B Copywriter) to join our global marketing team. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic writer with a background in B2B/SaaS marketing who can craft both short- and long-form content that drives engagement and conversions. Previous experience writing about highly-regulated industries would be advantageous.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing copy for compelling assets including ads, emails, and landing pages while also producing longer-form content such as blogs, eBooks and white papers, industry reports, and video scripts that establish our brand as a market leader. You’ll work with internal subject matter experts from across the organization to create thought leadership materials, collaborating with our demand generation, product marketing, and design teams to create content that supports our lead generation and customer engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Copywriting: Writing and editing short- and long-form content in a variety of formats for both customers and prospect audiences, while ensuring our brand voice and messaging is consistency across all content.
• Collaborate: Working with in-house subject matter experts, product marketers, and sales teams to translate complex topics into compelling, easy-to-digest content. You’ll also work closely with our in-house design team, briefing them on the graphic requirements for your content.
• Research: Conducting research on industry trends, customer pain points, and regulatory updates to inform content.
• SEO: Reviewing and optimizing content for SEO, ensuring visibility and driving organic traffic growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in B2B copywriting, preferably for SaaS companies
• A strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form content
• Experience writing for highly regulated industries (such as HR tech, legal, finance, etc.). Familiarity with the background screening industry is a plus.
• Experience writing for a senior-level professional audience (such as HR, risk, compliance, and procurement leaders and practitioners)
• Experience working with subject matter experts and company executives to create content based on their briefing
• Ability to simplify complex topics while maintaining accuracy and credibility.
• Strong research and storytelling skills
• Impeccable grammar and attention to detail—you should be able to spot a typo from a mile off. Familiarity with AP Style is a plus.
• Experience working with a content management system (CMS)
• Knowledge and experience with SEO best practices and content performance analytics
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams located all around the world
