Overview
To manage and supervise the work performed by employees, ensuring that the daily workflow of all incoming requests is effectively assigned and maintained. This includes monitoring workloads, turnaround times, quality, and developmental needs to enhance employee retention and improve satisfaction among both internal and external customers. Develop analytics to assess changes in workflows and predict future workloads and customer behavior. Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement and generate ideas to enhance or streamline operations. Oversee audits conducted by both internal and external auditors by reviewing data and validating accuracy. Utilize the insights gained from audits to improve process documentation and provide training as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Analyze fluctuations in volume levels to effectively coordinate work assignments.
- Ensure timely completion of work queue turnaround times.
- Supervise staff to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Continually improve knowledge on system functionality, HireRight products, audit requirements and industry changes.
- Proactively identify and address departmental concerns.
- Communicate and disseminate information through various channels, including emails, departmental meetings, and monthly metrics reports.
- Provide management with recommendations regarding staffing and propose process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall success of HireRight.
- Ensure that all procedures related to the teams are documented and stored on appropriate department determined repository.
- Engage with various departments and management as needed to enhance daily workflow and enhance work efficiency.
- Responsibilities may shift as team grows and/or processes are automated.
- Represent team in both internal and external meetings as needed.
- Schedule regular one-on-one meetings with all team members to strengthen individual relationships and address any concerns.
- Encourage the professional development of direct reports by identifying areas for improvement and providing necessary coaching and support.
- Foster a healthy and positive workplace environment to enhance team morale.
Qualifications
- At least one year of people leader experience required
- Demonstrated success utilizing technology for process improvement
- Proficient in streamlining operational processes
- Strong strategic skills with the capability to identify opportunities for automation of manual processes
- Proficient in establishing ambitious yet attainable goals and objectives for team members, supported by clear performance metrics for assessment
- Skilled in effectively communicating the alignment of individual goals with the overall objectives and strategic vision of the team and organization
- Adept at in utilizing technologies, including but not limited to automation tools, Microsoft suite, and other related tools
Education
High School diploma or GED required.
