Location: Phoenix Arizona

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve our Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, scripting, and working in cloud and DevOps environments. Linux SysAdmins with a commanding understanding of the technology listed will be considered for this role. The Linux System Administrator is part of the IT team and this individual will design, build, maintain and troubleshoot a secure server and storage infrastructure. This position requires a talented individual with a history of exceptional professional achievement, combined with solid real-world experience, to deploy and administer leading edge technology. The ideal candidate must be a technically savvy, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership/visionary skills, who can function with minimal oversight, in our 7x24x365 environment

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
• Implement security updates and patches.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot system performance and connectivity issues.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree, or comparable work experience
• 5 years of increasingly responsible System Administration in Linux
• Extensive experience with Linux a must
• RHCE/ RedHat Certified Engineer preferred
• Red Hat RDS experience a plus
• Red Hat JBOSS experience a plus
• NetAPP SAN experience a plus
• Windows SysAdmin experience a plus
• Building servers from the ground up
• Linux Scripting

PAY RANGE :

Pay Range*: $120k -$135k

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
