We are currently seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join a dynamic team within the Digital Experience domain of a leading global company in the hospitality industry. As part of this confidential organization, you will play an instrumental role in enhancing and supporting a high-traffic, customer-facing digital platform in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Position Overview

As a key team member, you will help improve the overall security, availability, scalability, and performance of our digital services and contribute to building best-in-class digital products. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automated systems, and best practices in software development and security.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions to enhance the security, scalability, and efficiency of high-traffic web services and infrastructure.
  • Build and implement automated solutions to ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based development processes.
  • Conduct capacity planning and demand forecasting to ensure infrastructure scalability while proactively addressing performance bottlenecks.
  • Analyze software performance and contribute to system optimization and tuning.
  • Develop monitoring and alerting systems to enhance observability and proactively address issues.
  • Participate in on-call duties, including after-hours support when necessary.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of software by making accurate estimates and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Refactor legacy code and reduce technical debt through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in software development and infrastructure management.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, tech-driven environment while contributing to the growth of the digital team.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on software development experience, including work on large-scale, high-traffic websites and mission-critical systems.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies and service-oriented architecture.
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, with a focus on development best practices.
  • Extensive experience with :

  • Java (5 years)
  • Spring MVC / Spring Boot / JMS
  • Web services (SOAP / REST)
  • Cloud computing (AWS)
  • Network protocols (TCP / IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS)
  • Secure coding practices and cryptography principles
  • Information security best practices and vulnerability mitigation
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS , as well as SQL / NoSQL databases .
  • Knowledge of build and CI tools such as Maven , Gradle , Jenkins , and Sonar .
  • Experience with Akamai CDN and Bot Manager is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize and solve complex problems.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Omniture , Google Analytics ).
  • Awareness of security frameworks such as OWASP Top Ten and CWE Top 25 .
  • Team Environment :

    This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering within the Digital Experience team. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

    Location & Work Environment :

    Scottsdale, AZ

    Onsite Schedule : Monday - Thursday (core hours in office between 9am-3pm)

    Remote work available on Fridays.
