Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential (Custom Home) Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of homebuilding construction processes. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Manage all phases of custom home construction projects, including planning, execution, and closing.
- Develop project schedules and budgets while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Utilize project management software such as ProCore for documentation and reporting.
- Supervise on-site personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate project success.
- Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Implement effective communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed of project status.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Custom Home Construction Manager or in a similar role within the industry.
- Strong proficiency in project scheduling tools and familiarity with budgeting practices.
- Experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Knowledge of high-end construction finishes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to construction sites.
