What you will be doing:
- Coordinate with attorneys to manage written discovery requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Assist attorneys with all phases of motion practice, including drafting, filing, and legal research.
- Investigate and gather relevant case information to support case strategy and strengthen arguments.
- Support trial teams with trial preparation, including preparing subpoenas, organizing exhibits, creating trial binders, and coordinating witness logistics.
- Provide assistance to attorneys during all phases of litigation and trial, including in-court support as needed.
- Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably within an insurance defense firm or defense law firm.
- Extensive knowledge of discovery processes, pretrial litigation, and trial preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- A Paralegal Certificate or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
