Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM (works 5 out of 6 weekends)
Hours: 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
Pay: $2,124–$2,304 Gross Weekly
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a weekend night shift package. This role involves providing direct patient care, evaluating and implementing care plans, and supporting the Emergency Department in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Requirements:
- Active Iowa RN License/Compact License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certifications
- Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care
- Administer medications and IVs safely and accurately
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Respond effectively in emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Provide cross-department support (e.g., Med-Surg) as needed
