Job Title: RN Nurse Supervisor
Location: York ME 03909
Shift: Nights 07:00pm – 07:30am
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
Hourly Pay: $75.63 - $80.61
We are currently seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team for a full-time night shift position. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will coordinate and organize personnel and resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the continuous and timely availability of urgent care, emergency, inpatient, and operative services to patients and families during the night shift.
- Monitor daily operations by integrating data from electronic systems, communication with staff, and physical rounds to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Allocate and redirect resources to ensure safe and quality care for patients, considering acuity levels, patient requirements, and staff skill mix.
- Lead the response during times of high census, collaborating with nursing directors, the Emergency Department, Surgery Department, Critical Care, Cath Lab, and Inpatient Nursing Units.
- Act as a leader in managing the nursing staff and ensuring that all staff are equipped to meet the needs of the patients and organization.
- Lead by example to provide clear direction, support, and coaching to the nursing team, including Charge Nurses, Unit Coordinators, and other nursing personnel.
Qualifications:
- Must have active RN License state or compact.
