Job Summary: Sterile Processing Technician
The position is responsible for the timely collection, cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols. The role requires maintaining proficiency in operating required equipment following manufacturer instructions and departmental procedures. The candidate will be expected to possess strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, decontamination practices, and the use of personal protective equipment in the decontamination area. Additionally, the role involves assisting with inventory management, ensuring proper sterilization practices, and maintaining Central Service equipment.
Requirements:
- Must have CRCST or CBSPO Certification.
