What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Structural Engineer position at HIRESIGMA?
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university (master’s degree or greater is preferred).
- 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with permanent and temporary structures and/or construction engineering preferred.
- PE licensure within the United States and ability to obtain additional licensure and certifications as required.
- Strong understanding of constructibility and academic knowledge of structural engineering.
- Experience with engineering design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, RISA-3D, MathCAD, SkyCiv, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments.
- Team player and self-motivated.
- Legally able to work in the US.
