JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Electrical Engineer will be part of the innovation team that focus on researching

and developing new products within the custom process solutions space. This key position will have ample room for autonomy to impact the designing, building and testing of complex prototype electro mechanical systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Component selection and integration: analyze different sensors, actuators, motors and

control devices integrating components ensuring compatibility and functionality

• System design & development: evaluate electrical requirements, develop conceptual

designs and develop detailed plans for a system that meets performance, reliability and safety

requirements.

• Conduct testing and validation: develop experiments, conduct tests, and analyze data to

evaluate system performance

• Ongoing learning: stay up to date with advancements in electrical engineering and related technology

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical system issues through testing, inspection,

and diagnostic techniques

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; people with mechanical

aptitude will receive special attention

• Proven experience in electrical system design and product development, with a minimum of three years of experience

• Prefer experience with industrial equipment design (e.g. robotics, process machinery, material handling, etc.)

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor Pro, AutoCAD Electrical) for

designing electrical systems is a plus

• A strong knowledge of electrical system components. Key items: motors, variable frequency

drives, PLC’s HMI, electric actuators, and position sensors
