What are the responsibilities and job description for the Second Shift - Process Operator position at HireSource Solutions?
Chemical Process Operator / Production Technician We are actively seeking dedicated, hard workers with experience performing duties within a manufacturing / production environment. This is a temp to perm opportunity with a very stable company who has been around for over 70 years.This position will have you working on the second shift. 2pm - 10 : 30pm Responsibilities :
- Driving fork trucks
- Monitoring process equipment
- Marking charts / operating logs Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience handling chemicals is a plus
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- 1 years' experience in the operation of production equipment or similar industrial environment.
- Forklift Certification or forklift experience preferred
- High School graduate
- At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or warehouse
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good comfort level with computers and automated machinery
- Leadership potential / ability to move up within production organization is a plus
- Good mechanical ability. Capable of performing heavy physical labor.
