Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Senior Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and system design, with extensive experience in the refining, chemical, power, pharmaceutical or other heavy process industries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and innovative projects while contributing to our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Team with project managers and engineers to develop high-quality design concepts and installation packages.
• Establish project deliverable milestones in coordination with the project manager.
• Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Microstation in accordance with project scope and specifications.
• Ensure QA / QC of project documents to maintain high engineering standards.
• Conduct site visits to survey existing conditions, gather project requirements, and effectively communicate findings to the design team.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, industry codes, and regulations (e.g., ISA, NEC, NEMA, IEEE).
• Analyze and evaluate design options to achieve project goals related to functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Review and modify designs to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide technical support and resolve design and construction issues.
• Participate in feasibility studies and cost estimation for proposed projects.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
