About the Company
Leading Audio Speaker Manufacturer seeks a Full-Time Product Design Assistant, who will work for and be mentored by one of the best audio electronics geniuses in the U.S. This unique position offers the chance to learn about cutting-edge audio reproduction technology, contribute to a ground-breaking brand, and manage R&D projects. As a "right-hand" to our Chief Product Designer, you'll be integral to our innovative product development process.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate acoustical measurement equipment and loudspeaker systems
- Program Digital Signal Processors
- Conduct power, SPL, and comparison testing
- Assemble R&D loudspeakers (installing transducers, making wiring harnesses, assembling electronics)
- Construct and inspect prototype cabinets
- Simulate and predict loudspeaker performance
- Perform basic CAD drawing in Rhino 3D (training will be provided)
- Manage R&D inventory, tools, and storage of components and hardware
- Handle project management, scheduling, and communication support
- Source components and manage shipping / receiving
- Travel locally, nationally, and internationally as needed

Requirements
Requirements : University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and / or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
