What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Lead Technician (Residential) position at HireSparks AV Recruiting?
LOCATION: GREATER NEW YORK CITY AREA
We are currently looking for experienced Lead Technicians to work out for one of our clients in Greater New York. Our ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of AV installation and integration experience. Our client is providing Relocation Assistance.
Responsibilities:
· Cut, terminate, and identify various audio, video, data cables, and wire.
· Installation of TVs, speakers, video projectors, projector screens.
· Installation of keypads and programming URC remotes
· Load programs and update firmware
· Possess an understanding of rack building procedure and tying in racks on-site
· Accurately document the installation procedure and complete necessary paperwork
· Interface with customers and vendors on job sites
· Familiarity with product lines including Crestron, Savant, Sonos, Lutron
· Working knowledge of Crestron Toolbox and Savant is a plus.
· Perform basic troubleshooting using various software and testing tools
· Must have an understanding AV floorplans, wire schedules, elevations & schematics
· Basic understanding of lighting and shade systems including HomeWorks QS low voltage wiring, RPMs and breaker panels, 0-10v wiring, dimmers, keypads, repeaters, shade wiring, and setting shade limits.
