What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Residential Lead Technician position at HireSparks AV Recruiting?
We are currently looking for experienced Lead Technicians to work out of our Greater New York office. Our ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 35 years of AV installation and integration experience. Our client is providing Relocation Assistance.
Responsibilities :
- Cut terminate and identify various audio video data cables and wire
- Installation of TVs speakers video projectors projector screens
- Installation of keypads and programming URC remotes
- Load programs and update firmware
- Possess an understanding of rack building procedure and tying in racks onsite
- Accurately document the installation procedure and complete necessary paperwork
- Interface with customers and vendors on job sites
- Familiarity with product lines including Crestron Savant Sonos Lutron
- Working knowledge of Crestron Toolbox and Savant is a plus.
- Perform basic troubleshooting using various software and testing tools
- Must have an understanding AV floorplans wire schedules elevations & schematics
- Basic understanding of lighting and shade systems including HomeWorks QS low voltage wiring RPMs and breaker panels 010v wiring dimmers keypads repeaters shade wiring and setting shade limits
Requirements
Requirements : University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years\' experience in an electrical and / or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
Education
