Top AV integrator in the Richmond, VA area is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Service Technician.
Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician who will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of audiovisual, videoconferencing and IT related systems. Thinking independently and working within the specified guidelines with minimal supervision.
- Provide technical support of audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT systems
- Diagnose audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related system problems Proactively manage and resolve Service Tickets
- Repair audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT related systems when possible including re-terminating various cables
- Configure and program equipment for a various applications
- Interface with manufacturer’s to identify and resolve issues
- Make recommendations as to whether it is better to repair or replace a defective product
- Effectively communicate and document activities such as keeping records up to date
Requirements
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred
CTS or equivalent.
Manufacturer spec. certs.
Crestron CTI-P301 passed.
Industry certifications.
Valid Driver's License
Biamp Cert.
QSC Certification.
Requirements
Requirements : University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and / or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
