Hirestarter's client is a health-tech startup leveraging advanced AI technologies—including large language models and natural language processing—to transform the way patients interact with and navigate the healthcare system.
You will be responsible for crafting user experiences that span AI-powered web applications and conversational AI applications. You will lead design efforts from research and ideation to implementation and iteration, ensuring the company's products deliver value and delight users. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Execute the end-to-end design process for web applications, ensuring seamless integration with the company’s conversational AI product.
Create and iterate on interactive prototypes and demos to rapidly test ideas and gather user feedback.
Actively refine and enhance existing design assets for the conversational AI product to improve usability and user satisfaction.
Conduct in-depth customer and user research, including desk research, interviews, and usability tests, to uncover actionable insights.
Use collected data to identify pain points, inform design choices, and implement iterative improvements to current and future products.
Test design solutions directly with users, ensuring designs are validated and aligned with their needs.
Advocate for the user in every step of the product development process, ensuring their needs are represented in all design decisions.
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate user needs into actionable product roadmap items.
Work hands-on with teammates to develop high-quality product demos and compelling value proposition documents that directly support sales and customer acquisition efforts.
Qualifications
5 years of experience as a UX Designer, with a focus on rapid ideation.
Strong portfolio showcasing successful & delightful applications.
Experience with rapid prototyping for ideation & user testing.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
Knowledge of large language models, conversational design principles, natural language processing (NLP), and human-computer interaction (HCI).
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, agile environment (nice to have)
Experience working in the Healthcare space (nice to have)
