Job Description: Avionics Technician

Position Overview:
We are hiring Avionics Technicians to support the integration and installation of avionics systems on a spaceflight vehicle. This role involves sensor installations, wire harness routing, and avionics integration. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong aerospace or avionics experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sensor installations, wire harness routing, and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) installations.
- Conduct avionics system testing, troubleshooting, and rework.
- Follow engineering drawings and aerospace standards (e.g., IPC 620).
- Operate on scaffolding and at heights while maintaining safety.
- Collaborate with a team to meet production and quality goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in avionics or aerospace (minimum 4 years with strong relevant experience).
- Skills:
- Knowledge of wire harness integration and testing (Cirris experience is a plus).
- Hands-on rework and troubleshooting expertise.
- Comfortable working at heights/scaffolding.
- Certifications: IPC certifications preferred but not required.
- Education: Open with proven experience in aerospace or avionics.
Work Details:
- Shifts:
- A Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- B Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM
- D Shift: Fri–Sun, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Overtime: 25% mandatory
- Physical Requirements: Extensive standing and stair climbing; vehicle is 10 feet off the ground.
Salary : $42 - $48
