Our client is seeking an Operations Specialist II to support critical securities processing functions within our firm. This role involves handling trade entry, foreign exchange processing, trade settlements, corporate actions, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify operational securities transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Handle trade instructions, receipt authentication, and transaction entry.
- Support global custody, securities lending, and prime brokerage functions.
- Reconcile and research trade discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams for resolution.
- Generate reports and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS/BA degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-1 years of industry experience (securities lending a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with securities lending applications (Global One, Equilend, Loanet) is a plus.
