Job Description: Test Engineer (Level II & III)
Location: Kent, WA
Contract Type: Possible Contract-to-Hire
Engineer -Test III – Shift A Monday – Friday 7AM-3:30 PM – 4 headcount
Engineer -Test II - Shift A Monday – Friday 7am -3:30pm – 6 headcount
Position Overview:
We are seeking Test Engineers (Level II & III) to support the development and qualification of aerospace components, with a focus on making acceptance testing more manufacturing-friendly. The role involves setting up and executing component tests, analyzing data, and working with technicians to automate and refine test processes.
Level II engineers will focus on test execution, data analysis, and work instruction refinement, while Level III engineers will lead testing improvements, mentor technicians, and ensure manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute cryogenic, hydraulic, and pressure tests for valves and instrumentation.
- Assist in transitioning development and qualification tests into a scalable manufacturing process.
- Analyze test data to verify compliance with parameters.
- Write and refine work instructions for technicians.
- Support automation and process improvements for efficiency.
- Train technicians on testing procedures.
- Work with a dynamic team to optimize vibration and environmental testing.
Qualifications:
Level II (Engineer - Test II) Requirements:
- Experience: 1 years in component testing and data analysis.
- Skills:
- Hands-on experience with test setups and execution.
- Ability to clarify and refine work instructions.
- Familiarity with cryogenic, hydraulic, and pressure testing.
Level III (Engineer - Test III) Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years in test engineering with a strong understanding of test parameters.
- Skills:
- Ability to lead testing efforts and train technicians.
- Experience with data analysis and process improvements.
- Knowledge of vibration and dynamic testing is a plus.
Preferred Skills for Both Levels:
- CREO experience (highly preferred).
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Background in aerospace component testing or a related field.
Salary : $62 - $72
