Job Summary:
Seeking dedicated and professional Benefit Educators for flexible, on-call work supporting health and pharmacy benefit education at events such as benefit fairs. Ideal for individuals with strong communication skills who are comfortable engaging with people and answering high-level questions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend benefit fairs to answer questions and distribute promotional materials.
- Complete annual training to understand the healthcare/pharmacy benefits industry and role expectations.
- Join a one-hour prep session before each event to learn about specific plan details and key talking points.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Greet attendees, distribute materials, and help them understand available benefits.
- Submit a post-event questionnaire via email.
- Travel to event locations within a 120-mile radius of your home base.
Requirements:
- Must live within a 120-mile radius of one of the listed cities.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible, on-call hours β including last-minute requests.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Comfort with public speaking and one-on-one conversations.
- Customer service or client-facing experience.
- Familiarity with healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy benefits is a plus.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and email communication.
