The successful candidate will support lab-scale beans processing, analytical testing, and administrative tasks related to ingredients.
This role is ideal for someone with a general biology and or chemistry knowledge and an interest in client products.
Understanding of basic GMP principles is appreciated. Maintain safe, sanitary and efficient laboratory workspace. The candidate should have a can-do attitude with a desire to learn. The technician will be managing the receiving and testing of ingredient samples; ability to maintain an organized process and documentation is required. A basic knowledge of Excel is a plus.
Main Duties:
- Conduct analytical testing on cocoa products.
- Assist with sample preparation and data collection.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean work environment, compliant with GMP and OSHA requirements.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and report generation.
- Coordinates preparation and shipment of samples to 3rd party laboratory for further testing, then documents corresponding results accurately.
- Provide general administrative and sample processing support as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely results.
