Our Client is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager – Engineering I to join our Wildfire Mitigation and Advanced Grid Engineering team. Core Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of capital engineering projects related to wildfire mitigation, ADMS deployments, and SCADA system upgrades.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Controls Engineering, Field Operations, Substation, and Distribution Engineering teams.
  • Assist in managing project scopes, budgets, timelines, risk profiles, and resource plans across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project deliverables align with safety, regulatory, and reliability standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, reporting metrics, and dashboards to track project progress and ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and field visits to facilitate communication between technical teams and leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for project execution frameworks, especially in grid modernization and wildfire defense initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with project lifecycle concepts: initiation, planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Exposure to Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), FLISR, or wildfire mitigation strategies.
  • EIT certification or working toward PMP certification is a plus.
