Job Summary and Authority :
Responsible for building electro / mechanical sub or final assemblies per specification within standard takt times,
maintaining quality requirements and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Assembly : Organizes and verifies components. Assembles sub or final assemblies in a safe and timely fashion.
Checks quality and operation of work. Maintains all required documentation.
Soldering : Solders wires and cable connections as required.
Blueprint reading : Reads blueprints required to assemble components and / or electro / mechanical
assemblies.
Documentation : Completes any and all quality and assembly documentation as required. Ensure that
design, implementation, test and maintenance methods / processes are developed as well as executed in
a manner, which supports all
Comply with, participate in, and maintain 6S events and follow ups.
Responsible for using only calibrated equipment and tools.
Request material from the stockroom.
Participate in daily management boards.
Properly disposition defective parts using NCE process.
Daily use of Oracle and Agile : Training requirements, accessing BOM / WI, and inventory searches.
Meet production, quality, efficiency and safety requirements and standards.
Participate in cross-training to meet schedule needs.
Identify root cause of basic assembly issues in a timely manner.
Work overtime to meet production schedule as needed
Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience :
Trade school or minimum one year electro / mechanical experience and blueprint reading preferred.
Specialized Knowledge (Desirable) :
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions such as assembly procedures and assembly drawings.
Ability to perform mechanical assemblies of sub or final assembly using standard crimpers and hand
tools.
Experience with using basic mechanical electrical tooling and measuring devices preferred.
IPC Certified a plus.
Languages required for the position (Desirable) :
English
Computer tools and knowledge level required (Desirable) :
Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of Agile and Oracle a plus.
