Candidates must live within a 120 mile radius of the location(s) listed below and be able and willing to commute within that radius.
St. Louis, MO Metro Area (St. Louis City and St. Louis County / surrounding suburbs); Southern IL (across river from St. Louis)
Candidates must have their own form of reliable transportation.
The role of a Benefit Educator is a critical one to the success of our business. As the face of
- your primary responsibility is to conduct world class enrollment events that differentiate
- from our competitors. In this role you will be educating customers on
- s products, services and programs through various formats including, but not limited to formal presentations, Q&A sessions, benefit fairs, health fairs, etc. The expectation is to create a highly satisfying and positive experience for our customers with knowledge, competence and professionalism.
Have and maintain an active Life and Health Insurance License
Have experience explaining and presenting employer-sponsored benefits
Familiarization with Supplemental Health Products (Accidental Injury, Critical Illness, Hospital Care)
Willing to work on an as-needed basis (including occasional last minute requests)
Will need to be available during peak season (August-December)
Will need to be comfortable speaking to large groups as well as with individuals 1 on 1
Successfully introduce and educate
Troubleshoot any enrollment or benefit questions and / or concerns
Will need to be willing to travel within the geographic market to cover events
Must have reliable transportation
Will be expected to charge expenses for travel (car rental, air, hotel etc) and will be reimbursed for those expenses
Must have access to email, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and cell phone
Must live local to the geographic area
Candidates CAN work for other carriers / enrollment companies, however I am not looking for candidates who will accept exclusive contracts with other carriers and not be available to work for
Knowledge of local market nuances (providers, networks, competitors) preferred
Bilingual capabilities preferred
Strong Presentation and PowerPoint skills (virtual or in person)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Strong organizational skills
Tech savvy (Webex, Zoom, Skype, and other various applications)
