- Person will handle internal approvals for engineering projects.
- Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
- Determine design approaches and parameters.
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests; evaluate results.
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
- Manage the overall completion of important and complex engineering tasks and projects.
- Provide both administrative and technical guidance for engineering tasks.
- Initiate, direct, supervise, and control engineering projects within a specified area of responsibility.
- Direct and support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.
- High level of analytical ability for solving unusual and difficult problems.
- Strong understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- General interest in product design, particularly automotive.
- Familiarity with basic machine types.
- Familiarity with all design, build, and test services.
- Highly proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Thorough knowledge of advanced engineering methods, tools, and procedures.
- Knowledge of design, development, and test engineering, manufacturing processes, assembly operations, and Central Office functions.
10 years of related work experience. Training in computer applications. College degree with a major in Engineering.
