WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a seasoned DevOps engineer with the skills to automate repeatable processes, develop integrated solutions, and help deliver a seamless cloud deployment and reporting platform.
The candidate will have demonstrable experience coding and scripting using languages like Python, JavaScript, etc. Understand serverless architectures and continuous integration & deployment (CI / CD), plus GraphQL and RESTful API development. Understand infrastructure-as-code technologies (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation), source code management (GitHub) as it relates to the developer experience. Build automation skills (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) are also required.
Our preferred candidate is a team-player and a self-starter with a passion for learning and growing. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate with a highly technical audience are desired qualifications.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training, and experience.
- 3 years of development experience using AWS.
- 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Proficient in programming using two or more of the following : Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Groovy, Java.
- Experience in designing and consuming Rest and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience in containerization using Docker.
