Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Product Strategy matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Drives the development of product definition and solution plans to optimize the company’s products and services portfolio. Evaluates business opportunities to define and optimize the product portfolio and solution alternatives through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment. Establishes strategies in order to manage a product or product category. Develops new product value propositions and targeted feature sets. Assists in the development and implementation of operational guidelines and objectives for the product portfolio. Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions / best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. May lead or manage sizable projects. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex Product Strategy assignments.
