JOB DESCRIPTION
Looking for RN to perform clinical visits on home bound patients.
Care consisting of education on medications, disease management and self care along with performing skills such as wound care, infusion, line maintenance, ostomy care, etc and teaching patients how to perform care for these as well. This position is % in the field, with nurse driving from one patient to the next. There is no "office" to report to, all meetings held virtually and nursing supplies are delivered. Initial trainig required on site in Oakbrook for days only. Expectation is for routine visits per day.
Candidate MUST HAVE :
- year Home Health RN experience
- Active BLS (AHA) and state RN license (IL)
- Wound care experience (wound vacs, pleural drains and ostomy care).
- Able to complete peripheral blood draws, central line care, and IV admin through multiple devices (elastomeric, IV pumps).
- Excellent assessment skills.
- Experience with computer documentation.
- Reliable transportation, active driver’s license, and insurance.
