Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensing / Merchandising / Project Manager with extensive experience managing licensing partnerships, both in-license and out-license. The ideal candidate will excel in project management, stakeholder management, and end-to-end business operations, driving consumer product strategies and growth. The role involves managing - partners across a variety of industries and requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business goals.
Responsibilities :
Accountable for setting up new partner onboarding across brand, product, sales, and marketing seasonal.
Manage seasonal product, design direction, and kick-off meetings to provide product and brand marketing direction. Seek guidance on assortment planning, topline distribution, and marketing planning with internal teams.
Process management of product and marketing approval processes to ensure strong brand fit across product positioning, distribution, and marketing.
Manage seasonal or yearly marketing direction; facilitate kick-offs to provide guidance on marketing creative concepts, storyboards, final visual plans, and PR.
Create templates and initiate processes and systems to support growing out-licensing business.
Collate post-launch selling reports.
Creating pitch decks for new properties : internal and external selling-in of property, including why and how.
Compile external licensing applications.
Collect forecasting with GEOs.
Collate commercial plans across product and distribution.
Collect intake processes with GEOs and teams.
Financial :
Review quarterly and yearly business plans and provide guidance and opportunities for growth based on strategic direction.
Monitor and support dialogues around actuals-to-forecast.
Monitor royalty collection with AP.
Explore additional growth opportunities around product and distribution.
Create P&Ls.
Monitor sales-to-forecast to GMR and create quarterly status updates.
Monitor on-time and accurate royalty reporting with AP.
Support internal energy forecasting at the contract stage.
Manage forecasting reporting to external partners as needed.
Legal / Contracts :
Review and understand all active contracts; support contractual execution (, number of samples, approval timelines, royalty payment schedules, sell-off terms, and broadcast across the organization).
Work with partners and legal teams on contract amendments (low complexity).
Manage and monitor inventory across GEOs, working according to contract terms.
Maintain contract Smartsheets across all energy contracts.
Day-to-Day Operations :
Act as the main point of contact within to guide teams on any ad-hoc questions related to downstream execution.
Ensure internal understanding of deal terms.
Key Stakeholders : External Partners.
GEOs (Forecasting, Distribution, Selling, and Merchandising Alignment).
PM (Direction Setting and Approvals).
Brand (Direction Setting and Approvals).
Marketing (Direction Setting and Approvals).
Finance (Forecasting, Royalties, P&L).
