Beds: 12 (runs 10 rooms daily)
Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience? 2 Year
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Average cases/day: 25-30
Patient Types:
General, urology, ortho (total joints, ORIF), spine (multi-level, complex posterior/anterior), OBGYN (D&C, hysterectomy, no c-sections), limited vascular (simple procedures, no big procedures), robotics (preferred)
Anesthesia Tech: pediatrics (does not need pediatric experience)
No cardiac, brain, transplant
Top 3 OR cases: Ortho, General, OBGYN (need strong skills)

Required: BLS
Preferred: ACLS

Required: BLS, completed surgical tech program from an accredited school
Preferred: CST
AT:
Required: BLS, ACLS, WI license, Associate Degree of Science and Anesthesia Technology
Surg Assist:
Required: BLS no other certifications required per manager
Skills required:
RN: Strong circulate skills, able to circulate general, ortho, OBGYN, scrub (preferred)
CST scrub cases, especially general, ortho, OBGYN
Anesthesia Tech: Assist anesthesiologist with intubation, blocks, place IVs, central lines, set machines up
Surg Assist: able to assist in various specialties, able to suture

Will not administer any medications outside scope

Orientation: (facility and unit)
2 Day Orientation
1st Day: Meet with educator (complete modules, tour, login access, etc.)
Remainder of the day work with a preceptor
2nd Day: Full 8h shift with preceptor
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: On call (see on call schedule)

Weekday: Mon-Fri
1 day per week
4h: 1500-1900
12h: 1900-0700
Weekend: (Sat-Sun)
1 weekend per every 5-6 weeks

Anesthesia Tech: same on-call schedule (self-scheduling)
Holiday Expectations: 1 on-call only

Shift times: M-F schedule with on-call shifts
Schedule cycle: 6 week schedule, receive 1-2 weeks prior, no self-scheduling
